Parts Sales Advisor (Bispham Green Depot)

As a Parts Sales Advisor, you'll be a vital part of our aftersales team based at our Bispham Green depot. Working in our showroom, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, ensuring they are welcomed to the depot with first-class customer service. A large part of this role is obviously sales - of our parts, services, equipment and merchandise - and finding new ways to meet targets and engage with our customers’ needs. This is where building great working relationships with our customers, listening to and anticipating their needs, and a tractor-load of enthusiasm will really help you succeed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for customers in the outlet and over the phone for any parts or merchandise enquiries, fostering excellent relationships to enable a first-class service.
• Build a good knowledge of the full range of parts, tools, equipment and services we offer in order to proactively recommend, promote and sell as appropriate.
• Identify required parts, pick parts from stock and place orders with suppliers to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Ensure payments are handled in line with procedure, completing invoicing and administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain inventory and merchandise displays, ensuring the shop floor is welcoming and well-presented.

Attributes we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, but not essential.
• An awareness of the agricultural industry and equipment is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
• Proactive and organised work ethic, with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Good IT skills with the ability to use standard IT applications and learn new platforms/systems easily.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with our customers.

Job Type & Hours:

• Full time/ Permanent/ Monday – Friday plus alternate Saturday mornings.
