FUEL EFFICIENCY AT SCALE
Despite size, burns up to 20% less fuel per tonne harvested than older high-capacity combines.
Long-belt drive reduces mechanical losses and wear.

Wider, longer, and more robust, the X9 feederhouse enables faster harvesting in high-yield crops. Its design departs significantly from conventional feederhouses, incorporating large lift cylinders and heavy-duty components for long-lasting performance.
OPTIMISED CROP FEEDING AND ENGAGEMENT
The pivoting mid-floor and feed-accelerator-mounted pivot ensure consistent crop engagement and smooth transition into the rotors at the optimum angle, regardless of lift height. The wide stone trap captures large stones before damage occurs, with a quick-release for easy emptying.
POWER AND CONTROL
A standard 110 kW (150 PS) fixed-speed drive is available, with an optional 260 kW (354 PS) variable-speed drive for maximum header capacity. The powerful reverser clears blockages efficiently, while instant-stop capability halts all drives immediately.
VISIBILITY, ACCESS & SAFETY
A long feederhouse provides clear header visibility and gentle crop flow, reducing grain and straw damage. Automatic feederhouse cylinder lockout engages when the operator leaves the seat, with the header lockable at any height for safe maintenance.
VERSATILITY AND MOBILITY
A 1,300 mm lift height eases header connection, clears obstacles, and allows rapid moves between fields. Heavy-duty construction supports travel up to 20 km/h with large headers, while independent suspension ensures excellent terrain following.

HIGH CROP ENGAGEMENT
The proven pivoting mid-floor design permits the feederhouse components to move vertically without restriction, ensuring superior crop engagement.
EVEN CROP TRANSITION
The feederhouse pivots at the feed accelerator, which consistently directs the crop into the rotors at the optimum angle, regardless of lift height.

ENERGY-EFFICIENT CROP FLOW TRANSITION
In all rotor combines, transitioning from tangential to axial crop flow can consume significant power. The X9’s 8-wing chevron FAST provides an energy-efficient solution.
Stalks are aligned head-first from the feederhouse, then the central chevron vanes split the crop mat into two streams, guided by a rotor divider.
The space between the FAST and rotor tips allows the crop to expand gently before entering the 270° feeding vanes, supporting high throughput and enabling the wide body to handle large volumes without overloading.

NEW LEVEL EFFICIENCY
The high-efficiency rotor design requires less power, delivering significant fuel savings. Its conical profile, optimised threshing and separation elements, and additional discharge beater ensure consistent performance across all crops and conditions, while remaining easy to set and operate.
DUAL ROTORS
The dual-rotor design has been expanded to the wide-body X9 to achieve unprecedented performance. The longer rotors in a wide channel provide a massive threshing and separation area, delivering superior grain quality, greater crop versatility, and easier accessibility.

3 IN 1 ROTORS
The X9’s exceptional separation performance is driven by the innovative 3-in-1 rotor design. By combining low-power feeding, a gentle pull-and-release threshing action, and energy-efficient centrifugal separation, it delivers unmatched efficiency.

FASTER ROTOR LOADING
The gap between the FAST and the rotor allows for a smoother, less power-intensive transition. With 270° feeding, the rotors are filled more quickly and efficiently, enhancing performance during crop-on-crop threshing. As the vanes guide the crop along the rotor, there is sufficient space for it to shift smoothly from tangential to axial movement.
GENTLE CROP-ON-CROP THRESHING
The crop travels across 1.6 m² of threshing concave area 2.5 times, providing a total of 4.0 m² of effective threshing capacity (2.5 × 1.6 m²). This allows for looser concave settings, significantly reducing broken grain. The result is higher-quality grain and straw, improved energy efficiency, and a contribution to the lowest possible harvest costs.
ENERGY EFFICIENT SEPARATING
The distinctive separation elements use a combing action to efficiently guide the crop toward the discharge beater as the rotor spins. On average, the crop passes through the separation zone seven times, taking advantage of an effective 22.5 m² area. The system features a large, 610 mm-diameter eccentric rotor, which delivers exceptional centrifugal separation and high efficiency without the high speeds typically needed by smaller rotors.

TOUGH CONDITIONS
The X9’s Active Concave Isolation uses hydraulic actuators to maintain consistent concave clearance, even with sudden crop volume changes. This allows wider settings for more crop-on-crop threshing and provides continuous overload protection, ensuring higher output throughout the day.
CONCAVES
Choose from small-wire, large-wire, or round-bar concaves. Small-wire concaves perform best in tough threshing conditions, large-wire models boost separation capacity, and round-bar concaves are ideal for coarse grains like maize, beans, and peas. Additional options are available in our parts catalogue.
FASTER CHANGEOVER
Weighing under 10 kg each, X9 concaves are significantly lighter than traditional models. With six concaves per rotor, they can be mixed to optimize separation for different crops. Fixing bolts are easily accessible, allowing quick changeover using a powered impact driver.
ROTOR SPEEDS
The X9 offers three gear options and allows remote rotor speed adjustment from the cab, enabling optimal performance for varying crop conditions. With a top speed of 1,300 rpm, it enhances separation even in tough or wet crops.

PRE-SORTED GRAIN
The preparation pan, the fourth shaking element of the cleaning shoe, is built to process large volumes of material from the separator. Its shaking motion separates grain from chaff, which is expelled early—before reaching the sieves.
LOSS PREVENTION
A return pan beneath the rotors directs late-stage separated grain and Active Tailings System output to the front of the cleaning shoe, maximizing grain recovery efficiency.
THRESHED TAILINGS
The X9’s Active Tailings System re-threshes tailings with smooth rubber elements to minimize grain damage. This reduces the main rotors’ workload, boosting throughput, enabling wider concave settings, and improving fuel efficiency.
AUTOMATED CONTROL
The cleaning shoe’s six loss sensors monitor the full width to detect grain losses anywhere. This data feeds the Harvest Settings Automation system, which adjusts settings automatically to maintain target grain quality.

EVEN AIRFLOW
Four high-performance turbine fans deliver consistent airflow across the entire cleaning shoe from below and the sides. Optimized over the chaffer and sieve, this airflow removes chaff, lifts the crop, and ensures a superior grain sample.

EASY CLEANING
The generous vertical gap between the rotors and cleaning shoe ensures smooth airflow and easy access. Sieve mounts can be fitted or removed in minutes for quick cleaning.
SIEVE OPTIONS
Select from general-purpose or coarse-grain sieve elements, with additional choices available in our parts shop.
LIGHTWEIGHT, DURABLE DESIGN
Made from aircraft-grade alloys and built with patented rivet construction, the shoe is both strong and lightweight, allowing for a larger size without added weight.
GRASS UPGRADE KIT
Available from our parts shop, this kit adjusts fan speed to 350–800 rpm to prevent lighter crops like grass seed from being blown away.

SIDEHILL KIT
The cleaning shoe features six divider plates on the preparation pan and chaffer to distribute material evenly across its full width, preventing sideways movement. A factory-fitted sidehill kit adds up to 14% slope compensation. High dividers on the chaffer stop grain from sliding, while rubber flaps act like pinball paddles, flicking grain uphill to prevent build-up and maintain even loading.

DEPENDABLE COMPENSATION
Terrain Settings Automation automatically fine-tunes key cleaning shoe settings—fan speed, chaffer, and sieve—while operating on slopes. Its exclusive crop matrix tailors adjustments to each crop type, such as prioritizing chaffer and sieve changes for sensitive crops like rapeseed before altering fan speed. This system can cut grain losses by up to 50% on slopes while delivering a cleaner grain sample.

10° HDX HEADER
The hinged draper header functions like two independent units, each able to flex up to 10°—the widest range on the market. This keeps the reel consistently aligned with the cutterbar knives for precise cutting, while draper belts ensure smooth, uninterrupted crop flow to the feederhouse. Ideal for uneven fields, the HDX Header helps capture more crop and boost grain tank yields.

You can choose between a high-performance 124-knife Extra Fine Cut Chopper at 3,000 rpm or a 68-knife Fine Cut Chopper at 2,400 rpm, depending on the desired chopping intensity. The Extra Fine Cut Chopper quickly incorporates residue into the soil, releasing nutrients for the next crop.
FAST CONVERSION TIMES
The chopper moves electrically between transport and working positions. For maize, no knife changes or cob deflector adjustments are needed—just reduce the speed to 1,600 rpm. The Premium Chopper also lets you switch from chop to drop at the touch of a button, ideal for headlands or areas requiring different crop handling, like green straw.
LOW ENERGY KNIFE DESIGN
The patented chopper knife design cuts power use by up to 20 kW (27 PS) versus standard wing knives. Its small surface dimples reduce air resistance, while the cutting action creates a self-sharpening effect for improved efficiency. Worn knives can be flipped to extend their lifespan.
RESIDUE MANAGEMENT
Direct crop flow combined with mechanical drives delivers significant power savings, while ensuring excellent chopping quality, even material distribution, and perfectly formed windrows ready for baling.
CHOPPING
The discharge beater channels material evenly across the combine’s width, feeding the chopper or forming uniform windrows. By handling both straw and chaff through the chopper, a separate chaff spreader isn’t needed, reducing engine load. The Premium PowerCast™ spreader draws air from the cleaning shoe, lowering back pressure for better airflow and increased capacity.

DROPPING
When windrowing, straw passes over the chopper and is shaped into a tall, box-like windrow by a flexible guide, even in low throughput or dry conditions. Additional straw rakes allow small, dry material to escape, keeping the windrow on top of the stubble for faster baler operation without stone pickup. Chaff is spread across the stubble by the PowerCast™ spreader, separate from the windrow.
