Assistant Parts Manager (Nantwich Depot)
As Assistant Parts Manager you will help drive the continued success of the Parts Department and the development of the parts team. You’ll help lead the day-to-day running of the department, help train and support the team, ensure processes are followed, and work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to deliver excellent service to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, coach and mentor our Parts Representatives to ensure they provide excellent customer service and achieve KPIs.
- Effectively manage the Parts team, including allocating tasks based on expertise and skill, and ensuring the department is appropriately staffed at all times.
- Offer expert advice and troubleshooting assistance to customers, and the parts team, regarding parts compatibility and usage.
- Work closely with the Service Workshop Manager to create and maintain parts processes that enable workshop efficiency.
- Drive the department to achieve parts sales and margin targets, monitoring performance each month.
- Update stock systems accurately and ensure stock levels are maintained at the required level to provide accurate supply for the workshop and retail parts customers.
- Support the team with counter sales and maintaining a welcoming and organised showroom.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a parts department or a mechanical role is essential.
- Good knowledge and familiarity with agricultural parts and products.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to success.
- A hands-on approach, leading by example and a willingness to get involved in all areas of the department.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Good IT skills with the ability to use standard IT applications and learn new platforms/systems easily.
- Proactive and organised work ethic, with the ability to work on own initiative.

Job Type & Hours:
- Full time/ Permanent/ 8am-5.30pm Mon-Fri plus alternate Saturday mornings.
