Group HR Manager

We seek a proactive and hands on HR Manager to manage the development, implementation, and coordination of all personnel related policies and procedures. This role would suit an experienced individual who can assist the business in achieving goals through productive and engaged employees and ensure compliance with all local employment laws. We need you to be innovative, creative, resilient and adaptable with the ability to support and influence colleagues and managers alike.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the employee life cycle activities for all employees including assisting with talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding and offboarding.
- Manage the recruiting efforts for the organisation, training internal managers to perform interviews, assisting with candidate selection and streamlining processes.
- Develop career development pathways for employees, and oversee the implementation of appropriate training and development programmes
- Manage performance management processes.
- Develop employee policies and procedures for the organisation.
- Coach managers and employees on the adherence to the policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
- Serve as member of the management team by assisting in the development and implementation of the strategic plan.
- Develop a positive working environment, encouraging a proactive approach to people's wellbeing
- Be responsible for and drive improvement in diversity, inclusion and engagement.
- Be accountable for talent planning, succession, assessments and HR processes that drive a high performing team
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs, which may include recognition
- Manage compensation and benefits plans for the entire organisation, this may include various elements such as hourly wages, bonus payments etc.
- Manage performance management processes
- Provide general day to day HR support on operational issues
Attributes we are looking for:
- Preferably 5+ years experience in Human Resources, including compensation and benefits, staffing, employee development, training and legal compliance.
- Knowledge of working with database software and other system applications to manage personnel data.
- Expert knowledge of employment law, policies and regulations as well as how to ensure compliance.
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individual and groups.
